Who Trident works with.

The Distinction

Advisor's judgment. Broker's execution.

Some mandates need retained judgment; others need a cargo originated, fixed and closed. Trident is engaged both ways — cargo advisor and broker in the same chair, with command-level maritime diligence behind every introduction. Either way, the commission is agreed in writing before the deal moves.

Qualified Counterparties

US suppliers see only pre-qualified demand — registration, import licence and banking capability verified first. Importers see only vetted cargoes, ships and sellers. Every name that reaches your desk has already passed diligence.

Command-Level Diligence

Most brokers have never sailed the ships they fix. A Master Mariner vets the vessel, the terminal and the counterparty before the fixture — not after the claim.

Clear Economics

An advisory retainer or a brokerage commission, agreed in writing before the deal — structured directly or within the cargo price, as the parties agree.

The Engagement

How a mandate runs.

The same disciplined sequence, whether the matter is a cargo, a terminal or a claim.

01

Enquire

A short, confidential conversation. No obligation.

02

Scope

Mandate, deliverables and fee agreed in writing — commissions disclosed up front.

03

Diligence

Counterparties, vessels and terminals vetted before commitment.

04

Execute

Coordinated end-to-end, with direct communication throughout.

05

Report

Clear close-out documentation — and counsel that stays available.

"Independence is the product. No cargo positions, no divided loyalty — only that the client buys well, ships safely, and comes back."
